POLICY:
To comply with all Wage and Compensation laws, while maintaining an ethical and equitable work environment.
SCOPE:
This Policy shall apply to all Pastoral, Program or Support employees of Chapel By The Sea.
PROCEDURE:
Chapel By The Sea shall observe the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day, July 4th
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day and the day after
- Christmas Day
- 2 floating holidays to be determined by the Pastor, in consultation with the employees, based on the calendar, e. g., Christmas falls on Thursday, the office may close Friday.
- 1 personal day
If a holiday falls on a Saturday, it is observed on Friday. If a holiday falls on Sunday, it is observed on Monday.
RESPONSIBILITY:
The holiday calendar shall be the responsibility of the Pastor.
