SCOPE:
This Policy shall apply to the Pastor of Chapel By The Sea.
PROCEDURE:
- The Pastor of Chapel By The Sea has thirty (30) days including four (4) Sundays annually as vacation time.
- The Pastor shall advise the Chairperson of the Personnel Committee of his/her vacation request.
- Every effort shall be made to accommodate any request depending on the time of year and Chapel calendar of activity.
- The Pastor shall find a replacement for Sunday absences.
The policy of Peace River Presbytery states that a pastor's vacation shall be given in terms of one month (not four weeks). The time may be taken together or broken into smaller segments.
RESPONSIBILITY:
The Pastor and the Chairperson of the Personnel Committee shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with this Policy.
