To provide a process for training and recruitment of ushers.
SCOPE:
These Procedures apply to all worship service ushers.
PROCEDURE:
- Head ushers are selected by the Worship Team.
- Head ushers are responsible for securing and overseeing ushers for each Sunday in a specified month for a specified hour of worship.
- Ushers report directly to the head usher if unable to fulfill their duties.
- The head usher reports to the Worship Team Chair if unable to fulfill his/her responsibilities.
- Guidelines and checklists describing ushering responsibilities, emergency procedures, and diagrams of the Sanctuary shall be given to all ushers in advance of their time for ushering.
The Worship Committee shall be responsible for securing a head usher and ushers for each worship service.
