POLICY:
To comply with the restrictions of Chapel By The Sea’s liability insurance policies and to prevent policy cancellations, increased premiums and/or legal issues.
SCOPE:
This Policy shall apply to all Staff, Members and outside parties. This Policy shall neither pertain to nor include Chapel Ministry such as field trips, or mission expeditions. Also see Policy Vehicle Usage[ 03: 006]
PROCEDURE:
· No commercial travel tour/vacation packages shall be considered a Chapel Ministry.
· No travel packages or tours shall be conducted, arranged or led through Chapel By The Sea.
· Only trips for the purpose of Mission or Christian Education (such as a retreat or Family Camp to Cedarkirk) that have been recommended by a Committee and approved by the Session shall be deemed a Chapel Ministry.
RESPONSIBILITY:
It shall be the responsibility of Session, Pastor and Staff to ensure compliance with this Policy.
